Lady Chatterley reminds me in all the right ways of the similarly wonderful movie, The Lover. Incredibly sensual love scenes, very little dialogue, a forbidden love, pitch perfect acting.
And Marina Hands is absolutely breathtaking. I look forward to seeing her in future movies.

Love is far too often romanticized in movies to the point that it resembles nothing like a real world relationship (other than maybe the first 10 minutes of a new flame).
Love is rarely that easy. It’s about acceptance. It’s about possibility. It’s about the ride.
“Ok.”
[NOTE: This is the ending, so it contains a major spoiler]

Once FOX SEARCHLIGHT PICTURES
Such a simple and true love story. Once is incredibly touching. And plenty of wonderful music performed (and acted) by Glen Hansard (the guy) and Markéta Irglová (the girl).
Making music together, creating a heart touching love song (”Falling Slowly”). “I don’t know you, But I want you, All the more for that.” Beautiful.

Even small loans managers can have musical aspirations. Their reactions to the loan approval are just great.

The ending. Same song as in clip #1, “Falling Slowly”. I always tear up on this one (yeah, I’ve got a weak spot in my heart). [SPOILER]
